Industrial floor coatings

Heavy-duty coatings for floors that work for a living. Warehouse aisles, plant floors, pump rooms, wash bays, service bays and airport hangars.

what it is

Spec'd by someone who came from the plant floor

Before Misti Wyant ever poured a floor, she was a Laboratory Technician and Production Lead at American Phoenix, the rubber mix plant inside the historic old Uniroyal factory in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. That's where you learn to read a data sheet and find out fast when something doesn't hold.

That's how industrial floors get specified here. Polyaspartic where the floor has to be back in service fast, polyurea where the slab moves, and urethane cement where it's hot and wet. Each one is chosen for what the floor actually goes through.

how it goes

From bare slab to finished floor

Walk the floor

See the slab, the traffic, the chemicals and the schedule.

Spec the system

Match polyaspartic, polyurea or urethane cement to the real conditions.

Install in sections

Phased around shifts so the building keeps running.

Stripe and mark

Aisles, walkways and safety lines striped so everyone knows where to be.

good to know

Why people choose it

Built for traffic

Forklifts, pallet jacks and hot tires without wearing through.

Grip on wet floors

Textured finishes where the floor stays wet most of the shift.

Marked and striped

Aisles and walkways laid out as part of the job, not an afterthought.

good questions

Asked about industrial floor coatings

Can you coat a plant or warehouse without shutting us down?+
Usually, yes. Industrial floors go down in sections or after hours so the rest of the building keeps working. Tell us when it's quiet and we'll build the schedule around that.
Which system holds up to forklifts?+
That depends on the load, the wheels and what else hits the floor. Polyaspartic and polyurea systems are common choices, built up to the thickness the traffic needs. We'll spec it after walking the floor.
Can you stripe aisles and walkways?+
Yes. Aisle striping and marked walkways are part of the job, laid out with you before the topcoat goes down.
Do you coat airport hangars?+
Yes. Hangar floors need to handle fuel and hydraulic fluid spills, heavy rolling loads and tight tire turns, and a light color keeps the space bright. We'll recommend a system after seeing the hangar.
