Polyaspartic & polyurea coatings

Fast-curing coatings for floors that can't be out of service for long, and flexible ones for slabs that move with the temperature.

what it is

Two systems, two different problems

Polyaspartic cures fast and holds its color in daylight, so a bay can often be back in service the next day instead of the next week. It also stays clear in sunlight, where a standard epoxy topcoat can slowly yellow.

Polyurea goes down flexible and stays that way. On a slab that moves, or one that swings through heat and cold, a flexible coating rides with the concrete instead of cracking with it.

how it goes

From bare slab to finished floor

Walk the floor

See the slab, the traffic and the schedule you have to work around.

Grind and prep

Fast cure means no second chances, so the prep has to be right the first time.

Coat in sections

The coating goes down in workable sections so the cure stays even.

Back in service

Return-to-use timing is set by the system and the room, and you get it in writing at the estimate.

good to know

Why people choose it

Stays clear outdoors

Polyaspartic is UV-stable, so it suits patios and sunny bays where epoxy can amber.

Moves with the slab

Polyurea flexes with temperature swings instead of cracking.

Less downtime

A fast cure means fewer days with the space closed.

good questions

Asked about polyaspartic and polyurea coatings

What's the difference between polyaspartic and polyurea?+
Polyaspartic is about speed and color stability: it cures fast and stays clear in sunlight. Polyurea is about flexibility on a slab that moves. Many floors use them together.
How soon can I use the floor?+
Polyaspartic cures fast, and in many cases a bay can be back in use the next day. You'll get the exact timing for your system and space at the estimate.
Is polyaspartic better than epoxy?+
Not always. It's better where speed and sunlight matter. For a decorative metallic floor indoors, epoxy is often still the right base. We'll recommend what fits the room.
Can it go on a patio or outdoor slab?+
Yes. Because polyaspartic is UV-stable, it's a good choice for outdoor concrete that sits in the sun.
